Christmas production has begun!

Hi!
All is well in Kokoni Towers, Eva says hi too!
I went to the Friday opening of the Frost Fair at Molcey Mill in West Deeping and was delighted to see friends selling their beautiful wares. Bex Gosling was there with her fantastic handmade bags, and I spoke to some other lovely people who have come to my workshops, who were selling silver clay jewellery and Christmas decorations. If you live locally and haven’t been to the Frost Fair you have to go in 2026 - it’s a really magical vibe, under the stars. The Mill house itself is AMAZING and totally worth a visit.
I have a website! I have started to put a few of my pieces up there and there will be more soon.
I have a handmade jewellery stall alongside Tracy Chamberlain at the Wake House Christmas craft fair on Saturday 29th November. You can find us on the ground floor near the café foyer area, showcasing a range of silver and mixed-metal jewellery.
Tracy and I are also taking commissions and still have some pre-Christmas availability for customisable cabochon rings and pendants. We are offering a choice of gemstones, fused glass and even vintage typewriter keys. We will magic you up a pendant, chunky ring or more delicate stacking ring, adorned with a cabachon of your choice, ready to become a perfect gift for a friend (or yourself!). Just come along on Saturday to choose your custom sparkles.
I’ll also be demoing ring-making at 11.30am and 2pm in my workshop upstairs if you want to bring the grandkids (demo takes about 10-20 mins). It’s the same day as the Bourne town Christmas Fair and light switch on, so there will be a lot going on along North Road.
I have just finished a custom pendant for a lady who was gifted a Derbyshire Blue John gemstone. I would love to make you something bespoke, such as piece of sentimental pet jewellery (including a few strands of their fur), spinning rings or even a one-off design. You can reply to this email or via the WhatsApp button on my Facebook page to discuss.
My classes are fully booked - thanks to everyone who has come along this year, it has been so lovely to see you all. I have decided not to provide gift cards this year as I’m putting some time aside for commissions and develop my own collection. I’ll update you on everything in the New Year.
I mentioned my friend Tracy Chamberlain earlier, who agreed to pen a guest piece for me, and if you would like to do the same, please let me know; let’s share the love! x
Tracy Chamberlain Glass Jewellery
I'm always experimenting with fused glass. There's a lot of chemistry involved, for example did you know that blue glass contains copper, green glass contains iron and that some pink glass contains gold?!! The magic happens when I heat it to around 800 degrees in my kiln. The results are unpredictable which is part of the fun for me.
When I'm happy with the glass cabochons I've made, I love to set them in silver. bronze or brass to make unique pieces of jewellery, as no two pieces are exactly the same.
I've called these beauties 'Aurora' as they are made using special glass that creates a shifting shimmer that reminds me of the Northern Lights.

Tracy's glass is so beautiful! You can also find her jewellery on the Ely Cathedral Stained Glass Museum website in the gift section. If you can't make it along to Wake House on 29th November, we will post on my Facebook Page so that you can still commission a piece 'remotely.' As I mentioned before, we both have a limited number of slots available to guarantee your piece of jewellery will be ready for Christmas.
Thanks again for being lovely Nic x ✨Your jewellery-making pal & creative companion✨
Hi Reader! A Jewellery-Making Journey in Memory of a Beloved Dog I wanted to share the making of a charm bracelet for a dear friend. This was a little memento — her dog Mica had passed away recently, and we’d been talking through some ideas. I knew I wanted to make something from scratch. This wasn’t just a gift — it needed to come from the heart. Starting From Scratch A fellow jewellery-making friend had made a chain using a tutorial from Cookson Gold, so I decided to start there. As much as...
Hi Reader! I hope you are well and having a lovely summer? I have been working on a few projects during my break, though not as many as I had hoped, as moving house has taken up so much time! But momentum is building, and hopefully one day I will have a little jewellery collection to show you. Sometimes the creative process takes a bit of time to kick in. I’m refusing to get annoyed or frustrated with myself because that won’t exactly help! Anyway, inspiration sometimes comes in a roundabout...
